Why Isn't My Video Rendered at the Scheduled Time?
Understanding the Rendering Queue and Timing
When you check your dashboard, you'll see a Next Render Date for your scheduled video. Sometimes, users notice that if it's a minute or so past the scheduled time—say, it's 9:01 AM when the video was supposed to render at 9:00 AM—the Next Render Date shifts to the following day. This can make it seem like your video has been skipped, but that's not the case.
Why This Happens
- Rendering Queue: We use a rendering queue to process all videos. This means videos are rendered in the order they are scheduled.
- Timing Variance: The exact rendering time can vary by up to 30 minutes from the scheduled time. This variance depends on where your video is positioned in the queue.
- System Updates: Once the scheduled time passes, the system updates the Next Render Date to the next scheduled slot, even if your current video is still in the queue to be rendered.
Rest Assured—Your Video Is on Its Way
- Not Skipped: Your video hasn't been skipped. It's still in the queue and will be rendered shortly.
- Short Delay: A delay of up to 30 minutes is normal due to the queue system.
What You Can Do
- Wait Briefly: Please allow up to 30 minutes past the scheduled time for your video to render.
- Check Pop-ups: Ensure that pop-ups are enabled in your browser, as certain notifications may require them.
- Stay Updated: Keep an eye on your dashboard for the status update once your video is rendered.
